I am so glad you found that inspiring! It is the thing that has kept--keeps me going so often. 🥰🤩🥰 Umph YES. The general world having this stigma is no surprise. And conservative women. Sucks, but no surprise. But the belly dancers themselves? That was such a shock! It shouldn't have been. Dance...sisterhood... But I'd never had sisters so I didn't KNOW how wonderful or how awful it could be. Or both at the same time. Whenever I have discovered truly supportive females, it has the been one of the greatest jewels of my whole life! Thank you for being here and having conversations about this stuff!
