I feel like I often get so wrapped up in your stories that I forget to acknowledge how good your writing is. But here, it really shone. You have such a knack for description. Especially describing your own physical experiences like the moment to moment experience of what its like to have a seizure.

It must be so strange to drop out like that and then just come to sometime later. Wow!

It is. It used to freak me out. Now it’s…highly annoying and concerning when it comes back.

Thank you so much!! Pieces like this one—that’s totally the 40 years of novel writing. Hahahah! They are my favorite memoir pieces to write - where I can fully immerse in the moment of something with all its sensations.

Thank you for sharing your experience here. And doing it so beautifully. I can't even begin to imagine what that feels like, but it sounds pretty scary.

the way you've woven this together with elements of your personal history and family is very cool. I really enjoyed reading it.

I am so glad! It always makes my day to learn that slogging through all these adventures can be an enjoyable reading experience, rather than merely educational. Thanks for being here with me!! 🥰
