One day there has to be a book or a movie or a tv series or something that chronicles your entire ordeal — because, it’s freaking incredible.
I feel for you so much Alexx! I can’t even imagine how hard all of this madness must be.
I also find it fascinating how sometimes there is literally no one who has any idea what’s going on with us and it falls back on us to figure it out for ourselves.
Well, this is pretty much IS the book. I mean, if somebody comes along and has a great idea about how to condense the whole thing into paper form, or onto the screen, I'd be open to the idea. You are not the first person to say this. That's actually why I started writing all these adventures to begin with.
Figure it out ourselves: Right?! I guess that's why they call it "practicing" medicine. It's also amazing how much they do know, but certain fields have a tendency to close their ears and stay in their lane when the answer is very complicated with many moving pieces from many different fields. Fields that, in this case, we don't have the technology to measure yet. Your story is SUCH a huge example of that.
Yeah, I understand. I guess the struggle would be trying to actually condense it down without losing the demoralising nature of the incessant medical rigmarole… 🤔
Yeah definitely. I remembering hearing someone say that with medicine the practitioners don’t draw their information from the individual— it’s from the collective. And so, it’s like ‘yes, in most cases the surgery or the medication goes well’ but for each individual all of whom have their own specific needs, genetics, and ailments — there is really no way of knowing how a certain set of treatments will help them. It’s kinda crazy!
I’m actually reading a book right now, called ‘The mindful body’ by this cool ass professor lady from Harvard named Ellen Lagner. She goes through all these studies and research about how important our mindsets are to our health and healing, and how often the medical establishments impact our mindsets in negative ways. It may be a book that would interest you…
Oh absolutely!! And also the entire disability assistance rigamarole. Beside we’re trapped in having to prove over and over and over how awwwwwwful it is and how hopeless that pretty soon, we have to battle not believing it harder than we have to battle the problems. It’s really fucked up.

Wishing you health! :)

Wishing the same to you!!

Indeed. I get the efficiency of brain saving power in that. But ya know…that’s what the gods made medical files for.
Hahahaha! Exactly!

It really is fucked up. Battling something unnecessary and absurd on top of the illness or injury is just so damn wrong.
